ELA MATH 2nd Grade

Thursday 12 pm PT/ 1 pm MT/ 2 pm CT/ 3 pm ET

Knowledge of phonemic awareness and decoding will be strengthened in this class. Reading comprehension and vocabulary are enhanced throughout the year as students listen to classic literature, poetry, and grade level nonfiction. Opportunities to continue writing are provided in fun activities which include opinion and persuasive short paragraphs. Students will have the opportunity to research topics of interest and present to their peers. Students will be introduced to grammar conventions and encouraged to use this knowledge in their writing.Cost: $60 - or 6000 points - which comes from student's supplemental learning fund credit.
