Star Sewer and Water Facility Tour

Ever wonder what happens after you flush the toilet or drain the sink? Come along for a fun and fascinating behind-the-scenes tour of the Star Sewer and Water facility! We'll explore both inside and outside areas as we follow the journey of our water from home, through the treatment process, and out to the Boise River.

This experience is especially geared toward students ages 8 and up who are ready to dive into the science of water systems and learn about the state-of-the-art technology our city uses to keep things flowing. Younger siblings are absolutely welcome—just know that some parts of the tour may be a little more interesting for the older kids.

Don’t miss this fun and educational opportunity to explore how our city works from the inside out!

Who: All Braintree Academy IHLA students, as well as parents and siblings under 5.

Cost: Free for all Braintree Academy IHLA students and one parent.

** If this event is not full 5-7 days before the event, the Event Coordinator may open the event up to additional guests. You can reach out to the Event Coordinator via email to include guests at that time.
