Details
Who: All Braintree Academy CDLA students, as well as parents and siblings under 5. (Please only sign up for 1 of these visits per family)
What: Step back in time and explore Indiana’s history at Conner Prairie, an interactive outdoor living history museum. Students will engage with costumed interpreters, hands-on exhibits, and historic buildings while learning about 19th-century pioneer life.
• Check in at the designated table near the apple store gate upon arrival
• Arrive between 9:30 AM and 9:50 AM to ensure you are ready for the 10:00 AM start
• This is a fully outdoor event so dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes
• Bring water snacks and a packed lunch if desired picnic areas may be available
Hands on activities include:
• Visiting hermitage animals
• Exploring 1836 Prairietown
• Blacksmithing and pottery demonstrations
• Interacting with costumed interpreters
• Lenape Indian Camp exploration
• Balloon exhibit may be available weather permitting
Supervise children at all times and be respectful of exhibits and staff
Backpacks and strollers are allowed but may need to be managed on uneven terrain
Cost: Free for all Braintree Academy CDLA students and one parent.
Additional parents and younger sibling fee is $9. All guest payments must be made by 9/15/25
We have a no-refunds policy for guest fees. If a medical emergency affects your guest’s attendance, please reach out, and we will do our best to apply the fee toward a future event.
