Step into America’s one-of-a-kind restored 19th-century saddletree factory, brimming with fascinating vintage belt-powered woodworking machines! We'll discover how the Schroeder family business crafted saddletrees (the wooden frames inside saddles), clothespins, and more. Dive into the captivating history of this essential industry and learn about the skilled craftsmen who expertly created saddletrees for an impressive 98 years!
Cost: Free for all Braintree Academy CDLA students and one parent
While younger siblings are free to join us, additional parents are $16. All guest payments must be made by Wednesday, September 17th.
We have a no-refunds policy for guest fees. If a medical emergency affects your guest’s attendance, please reach out, and we will do our best to apply the fee toward a future event.
