Brought to us by the Smithsonian National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute, The Conservation Classroom series explores monthly lessons which virtually connect students to animals, concepts about conservation, and associated careers through the use of live, interactive virtual programs. This month's offering is Wild Medicine. What happens to a seal who has a toothache? How does an orangutan get a checkup? Wild Medicine invites students to join the Smithsonian's team of veterinarians and other animal health professionals to explore how animals go to the doctor, just like us!
