Who: Braintree 7th-10th grade students. Learn about holiday traditions from different cultures and connect with local teens before the holiday break!
What: Get ready to travel the globe without leaving Elkhart! Join us for a festive, cozy afternoon at the library. We'll explore "Holidays Around the World" with fun, hands-on craft stations while learning about holiday traditions from different cultures.

And what's a holiday party without a deluxe Hot Cocoa Bar? We'll have "around the world toppings" to build your perfect cup. Come for the crafts, stay for the cocoa!

Explore & Grow: Holidays Around the World | Braintree Academy Celebrate culture through hands-on learning! This print-and-go packet guides students across Israel, Mexico, India, and Sweden with bite-size history, kid-friendly videos/read-alouds, and creative activities. Learners spin and make a dreidel, try traditional recipes (like latkes or sufganiyot), create rangoli and diyas for Diwali, weave Scandinavian hearts, explore Dala horses, and reflect with age-appropriate writing prompts—including 3-paragraph essays for grades 6–8. Perfect for classrooms, at-home learning, or a December cultural unit—choose pages by grade band and go.
