Get ready for an exciting spring field trip to a local flower farm! This is a fantastic opportunity for the kids to dive into the world of flowers, discovering how they're grown, harvested, and beautifully arranged, all while enjoying the great outdoors!

What the kids will learn:

• How flowers are planted and grown

• The life cycle of flowers and pollination

• How farmers harvest and care for flowers

• How flowers are used for bouquets and markets

Activities may include:

• Walking tour of the flower fields

• Learning about different flower varieties

• Seeing how flowers are cut and prepared

• Possibly picking a flower to take home (depending on the farm)

What to bring:

• Water bottle

• Comfortable walking shoes

Who: All Braintree Academy IHLA students, as well as parents and siblings under 5. 

Cost: Free for all Braintree Academy IHLA students and one parent.
