Tuesday 8 am PT / 9 am MT / 10 am CT / 11 am ET
Class Details:
This class provides additional support for first-grade students who need more practice developing foundational reading skills. A large portion of each weekly session will focus on explicit phonics instruction, including letter-sound relationships, decoding strategies, word recognition, fluency, and other essential early literacy skills. Students will also receive targeted support in reading comprehension and vocabulary development.
The remaining class time will focus on grade-level language arts concepts that help students meet required learning goals. To maximize instructional time during live sessions, optional assignments and practice activities will be completed outside of class. This supportive, engaging environment allows students to strengthen their reading foundations and build confidence as developing readers.
Cost: $100 per year (charged $50 per semester) - or 10,000 points (charged 5,000 points per semester)- which comes from the student's supplemental learning fund credit.
