Anchor Jr. High STEM Foundations

Class Fees are $10 or 100 points per semester.

Students will be introduced to the engineering design process across many disciplines through a variety of hands-on, problem-solving tasks. Each unit will incorporate a stem-based project and a career exploration based on the unit topic. The monthly STEM challenge will include a video overview of the subject and a project plan where students can organize their research and make a plan. There will also be team challenge suggestions for anyone wanting to work on the project with peers or siblings.

Anchor classes are available year-round. Students who request mid-semester will have their anchor class added to the LMS on Mondays.
