Anchor K-2 Project Based Science- Survey of Science

Class Fees are $10 or 100 points per semester.

The K-2 Science Anchor class will focus on Life and Physical Science in the first semester and engineering design and Earth Science in the Spring. These are project-based classes that allow students to explore fun topics, either independently (with age-appropriate support) or in groups. These classes do not have a live meeting, but all materials and information will be available in the LMS. Students will have daily lessons to complete at home and a weekly submission that works toward the monthly project. Siblings, friends, or co-ops can all work together. At the end of each unit, students will share their projects on a discussion board to showcase their learning.

Anchor classes are available year-round. Students who request mid-semester will have their anchor class added to the LMS on Mondays.
