Building an understanding of community, country, and the world is the basis of social studies in 1st grade. Students will explore the ways families lived in the past and draw connections to their own families today. They will learn about Earth's geography and create maps. Students will learn about economics and civics, including basic needs, spending and saving money, rules and responsibilities, and the roles of community helpers. They will explore the question: What do you want to do when you grow up?
Cost: $100 per year (charged $50 per semester) - or 10000 points (charged 5000 points per semester) - which comes from the student's supplemental learning fund credit. Live class enrollments are for the FULL year even though you are charged by semester.
