2nd Grade ELA Live Essentials

This class has multiple sessions with the same content. Please sign up for only one.

Phonemic awareness and decoding skills will be strengthened in this class. Reading comprehension and vocabulary skills are enhanced throughout the year as students listen to classic literature, poetry, and grade-level nonfiction texts. Opportunities to continue writing are provided through fun activities that include opinion and persuasive short paragraphs. Students will have the opportunity to research topics of interest and present to their peers. Students will be introduced to grammar conventions and encouraged to use this knowledge in their writing.

Cost: $100 per year (charged $50 per semester) - or 10000 points (charged 5000 points per semester) - which comes from the student's supplemental learning fund credit. Live class enrollments are for the FULL year, even though you are charged by semester.
