The five areas of 3rd-grade social studies will include engaging lessons in geography, economics, global perspectives, history, and civics & government. Students work together to analyze how different cultures influence communities and families. They will explore migration and immigration and how they have impacted the United States of America. Students will study our natural, capital, and human resources, as well as US laws and the branches of government. 3rd-grade social studies is collaborative and explorative; it allows students to ask questions and deepen their understanding.
Cost: $100 per year (charged $50 per semester) - or 10000 points (charged 5000 points per semester) - which comes from the student's supplemental learning fund credit. Live class enrollments are for the FULL year, even though you are charged by semester.
