Class Details:
In this engaging and creative course, students will dive into the exciting world of graphic novels to discover how images and text work together to tell powerful stories. They’ll explore character development, panel design, and plot structure while analyzing popular graphic novels that capture readers’ imaginations. Through hands-on learning and guided discussions, students will strengthen their critical thinking and literary analysis skills. By the end of the course, each student will craft a short original comic and write a research paper that showcases their understanding of this dynamic storytelling format. Perfect for visual learners and budding storytellers, this class combines creativity with academic skill-building in a fun, supportive environment.
