Class Details:
In this exciting literature course, students will explore how stories across time and cultures are connected through a shared structure known as the Hero’s Journey. This classic narrative arc—found in countless books and movies—will come to life as students read and analyze works of fiction, including the epic tale of the Greek hero Odysseus. Through discussion and critical thinking, students will learn to recognize common themes, character roles, and plot elements that shape powerful stories. This class builds strong reading comprehension and literary analysis skills while helping students develop a deeper appreciation for storytelling.
