Class Details:
This course uses the IXL curriculum to help students deepen their understanding and become proficient problem-solvers using a blend of practice, exploration, and real-world applications. Students will be exposed to topics such as comparing fractions with the same and different denominators, multiplying and subtracting fractions, and using all 4 operations to solve real-world problems. They will dive into geometry by measuring and comparing angles and finding lines of symmetry. They will also practice converting between different units of measurement and identifying and describing patterns. Your 4th grader will learn to connect mathematical concepts to their daily lives, making math more relevant, useful, and engaging.
Cost: $200 per year (charged $100 per semester) - or 20000 points (charged 10000 points per semester) - which comes from the student's supplemental learning fund credit. Live class enrollments are for the FULL year, even though you are charged by semester.
