Writers Grove - Leaf Learners

Section 3: Wednesday 10 AM PT / 11 AM MT / 12 PM CT / 1 PM ET

This class has multiple sessions with the same content. Please sign up for only one.

Grades: 3-4

Students in the Leaf Learners Writers Grove class will:

• Learn to write complete sentences, including a capital letter, subject, predicate, and ending mark.

• Learn to write paragraphs that include topic sentences and supporting details.

• Build up to writing 3 paragraph essays with an introduction, relevant facts and details, and a conclusion.

• Write informational, argumentative, and narrative texts.

• Explore creative writing, poetry, and letter writing.

$100 per year (charged $50 per semester) - or 10000 points (charged 5000 points per semester), which comes from the student's supplemental learning fund credit.
