Welcome to BioBlitz Club, a semester-long virtual club designed for middle school students to explore the living world through citizen science! Using iNaturalist and its student-friendly companion app Seek, club members will become biodiversity detectives, mapping species, identifying adaptations, and contributing to real scientific databases—all while meeting rigorous academic standards.

This club is aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for middle school, with a special focus on life science and environmental topics. Students will develop critical observation skills, practice scientific reasoning, and engage in meaningful outdoor exploration—all from their local environments.
