Kids Discover is an educational platform offering engaging, nonfiction content in science and social studies for students in grades K–8. Its digital library, Kids Discover Online, provides interactive articles, videos, infographics, and lesson plans across subjects like American history, earth science, geography, and technology.   Grade-Level Coverage Kindergarten–2nd Grade: Introduces foundational concepts in community, family, and basic geography. Grades 3–5: Explores topics such as ecosystems, energy, U.S. geography, and early American history. Grades 6–8: Delves into advanced subjects like ancient civilizations, the human body, and physical sciences.   Each topic is available at three Lexile® reading levels—560–740 (grades 3–4), 750–890 (grades 5–6), and 900–1040 (grades 7–8)—to support differentiated instruction. Features like text-to-speech read-aloud, translations in over 20 languages, and interactive assessments make it accessible for diverse learners.   Learning Coaches can align content with Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards, and utilize tools for assigning readings, tracking progress, and customizing lessons.   NOTE: Quizzes will not be available with this resource.
