Thursday | 2 PM MT, 4 PM ET

Club details:

Thursday | 2 PM MT, 4 PM ET

Instructor: Andrea Stern

Grades: K-2

Get ready to move, play, and make music! In this fun and interactive club, young learners will be introduced to the basics of music through hands-on activities, movement, and simple instruments.

Students will explore foundational concepts like steady beat, rhythm, high and low sounds, loud and soft dynamics, and tempo—all in a way that keeps them active and engaged. Each class includes singing, movement games, rhythm play (using items like rhythm sticks, cups, or homemade instruments), and creative activities that help children experience music, not just learn about it.

This club is designed especially for K–2 students, with short, varied activities that match their attention span and energy level. No prior music experience is needed—just a willingness to participate and have fun!

By the end of the semester, students will have a basic understanding of musical concepts and the confidence to create and perform simple rhythms and songs.
