Prodigies Music is an engaging, standards-aligned music education program designed for children from PreK through 5th grade. It offers a comprehensive curriculum that combines colorful video lessons, interactive activities, and hands-on instrument play to develop musical skills in young learners. Prodigies Music teaches your kids the fundamentals of music. Your student will learn pitch development through songs, games, and activities about the music notes. Lessons help build rhythmic development, listening and aural comprehension skills, and help students play their first instrument.   Grade-Level Coverage Ages 3–6 (Preschool–Kindergarten): Focuses on foundational music concepts using the Preschool Prodigies series, which includes lessons on pitch, rhythm, and solfège hand signs. Children engage with instruments like deskbells and xylophones to explore musical notes and patterns. Grades 1–5: The Primary Prodigies series builds upon earlier lessons, introducing more complex musical theory, reading of sheet music, and playing of instruments such as the recorder and ukulele. Students learn about scales, chords, and musical notation, aligning with national and state music education standards.   Key Features Standards-Aligned Curriculum: Lessons are aligned with the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) standards, as well as various state-specific standards, ensuring a comprehensive music education. Interactive Video Lessons: Over 800 video lessons guide students through musical concepts, incorporating singing, hand signs, and instrument play.YouTube+1Prodigies Music+1 Instrumental Learning: Students have the opportunity to learn and play various instruments, including deskbells, xylophones, recorders, and ukuleles, fostering hands-on musical experience.   NOTE: No extra supplies are needed for this program. There are digital instruments, activities, and printable workbook pages included in the program. Deskbells, xylophone, piano, recorder or Ukulele are not included in this membership. If you would like to purchase these items they can be purchased separately and submitted through reimbursement/direct order.
