The 90-Second Newbery Film Festival is back for its fifteenth year! It is an annual worldwide video contest in which young filmmakers create short movies that tell the entire stories of Newbery-winning books in just a few minutes (and adult help is okay).

Want to make a 90-Second Newbery movie for their 2026 season? Entries are due January 16, 2026, but you can turn them in anytime before that, too!
