What: Every December bald eagles flock to the shores of Coeur d'alene Lake for the annual salmon migration. Join us on a cruise, especially for our High School Families, on our lake to see the birds up close. If we are lucky we will also get to see eagles diving for a tasty snack. During the cruise, turn your ticket in at the concession stand for a warm cup of either hot cocoa or coffee. We will also have an educational video showing inside the boat as we leave the dock teaching us about the bald eagle.

Who: All Braintree Academy IHLA High School students, as well as parents and siblings.

Cost: Free for all Braintree Academy IHLA High School students, one parent, and siblings 5 and under.

Additional parents fee is $27.50 and siblings 6-18 fee is $13.50. All guest payments must be made by  December 10th. 

We have a no-refunds policy for guest fees. If a medical emergency affects your guest’s attendance, please reach out, and we will do our best to apply the fee toward a future event.

Important Details:

Please note that we will meet at the boardwalk entrance on the EAST side of the Resort. This entrance is on the corner of 3rd and Front streets right next to the boat ramps.

The boat will leave at 11:30am sharp so please arrive at least 15 minutes early in order to ensure you can get checked in and loaded into the appropriate boat. The boats will not wait for families who are running behind schedule.

If you want to be on the boat with another family, please meet up with them BEFORE coming to check in. When you check in you will be loaded onto the boat and at that point we cannot guarantee your friends will be loaded on to the same boat.

Additional Guests:

** If this event is not full 5-7 days before the event, the Event Coordinator may open the event up to additional guests. You can reach out to the Event Coordinator via email to include guests at that time.

Please note that this is a prepaid event where Braintree Academy has to purchase tickets in advance. Due to being a prepaid event, if you cannot make your reservation you need to cancel a full week before your cruise date. This way we have time to fill the tickets with another family from our wait list.
