🌿 Adventure Awaits at the Wildlife Refuge! 🦋
Get ready for a day of discovery and fun! We’ll kick things off with a short introduction from a refuge staff member, then families are free to explore the lake shore, winding nature trails, and the vibrant pollinator garden on a self-guided tour. Students can turn into nature detectives—keep your eyes open for animal tracks, nests, and other signs of wildlife!
Pack a picnic to enjoy on the grassy lawn, and don’t miss the chance to dive deeper with nature journaling prompts and scavenger hunt printouts available HERE.
👟 Put on your best walking shoes (sorry, flip-flops just won’t survive this adventure!) and bring plenty of water. This is the perfect chance to connect with nature, learn together, and make lasting memories as a family.
