Veteran's Scoop: Interviews and Ice Cream Social
Join us for a delightful afternoon of community engagement and appreciation as we host an Ice Cream Social at the Idaho State Veterans Home. This event aims to bring together residents and Braintree students while honoring the brave veterans who have served our country.

Interviewing Veterans
As part of the event, we will conduct interviews with veterans to capture their experiences and memories. This is a unique opportunity to hear firsthand accounts of their service and sacrifice. We encourage attendees to participate in the interviews and ask questions, fostering a deeper connection with our veterans.
Preparations You Might Find Interesting
Prepare questions to ask a veteran during the interviews.
Arrive eager for ice cream and to meet these incredible heroes.
OPTIONAL- Utilize Wreaths Across America Curriculum options to learn about Veterans and the Value of Freedom.
If your student is interested in singing or performing at the event please reach out to Amber.
We look forward to seeing you there as we celebrate our veterans and enjoy a sweet treat together!
Who: All Braintree Academy IHLA students, as well as parents and siblings under 5.
Cost: Free for all Braintree Academy IHLA students and one parent.
Additional parents and younger sibling fee is $2. All guest payments must be made by November 10th. Please note that we will not be collecting cash at the event—payments must be made using the payment link provided in your confirmation email.
We have a no-refunds policy for guest fees. If a medical emergency affects your guest’s attendance, please reach out, and we will do our best to apply the fee toward a future event.

** If this event is not full 5-7 days before the event, the Event Coordinator may open the event up to additional guests. You can reach out to the Event Coordinator via email to include guests at that time.
