You’re invited to a Back-to-School Celebration at Lake Walcott!
Let’s kick off the school year together with a day of connection, outdoor fun, and fresh air! We’ll start with a welcome meet-and-greet near the boat launch and picnic tables, then head out on a group nature hike to explore the beautiful trails and wildlife around the lake. Along the way, we’ll have plenty of time to chat, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company while discovering the natural beauty that makes this park so special.
Whether you’re here for the hike or just great company, this is the perfect chance to connect with other families, make new friends, and celebrate the start of another amazing school year.
We will meet at the picnic pavilion by the basketball court at 1:00 p.m. There's plenty of parking and bathrooms nearby. The park will waive the $7 parking fee for participants in the event.
Who: All Braintree Academy IHLA students, as well as parents and siblings under 5
Cost: Free for all Braintree Academy IHLA students and immediate family members. There is a $7 parking fee, or it is free with an Idaho Parks Pass.
