For January, we will paint a fruit still life. Here the outline for you to print, and the reference photo. Mrs. Chaplin recommends printing the reference photo at 600 dpi because it's a small image.

It’s best to print onto 8.5 x 11 watercolor or mixed media paper (If your watercolor paper is too large, you can cut it down). A second option is to layer a blank piece of watercolor paper over the image, hold them both up on a bright window, and trace onto the watercolor paper. Please have your image ready, your watercolors, a fine tip brush and a thicker brush, a Micron fine tip pen, a few paper towels, and a cup of water ready to go when the class begins. If you'd like a border around your final painting, you can use masking tape or blue painters tape to achieve this look…
