Brought to us by the Smithsonian National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute, The Conservation Classroom series explores monthly lessons which virtually connect students to animals, concepts about conservation, and associated careers through the use of live, interactive virtual programs. This month's offering is "What Makes a Habitat a Home?" From deserts to rain forests, let's explore what makes a habitat a suitable animal home. This program examines habitats around the world and some of the animals that live in them.
