Thank you for expressing interest in Interim ISAT testing!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

We will email you the day before your scheduled time slot with important information you will need to get your student set up to take the test. If you don’t hear from the proctor the day before testing, please respond to this email (interimisat.braintree@malad.us).

Student Login Explanation

Students need three pieces of information to log in. Please note that this testing information is secure and will be sent in a Schoology message to your child.

1. Student’s first name as it appears in the ISAT testing system. This is their legal first name, nicknames and shortened names will not work.

2. EDUID number. This is a 9-digit number that is their state ID. 

3. Session ID. Your test proctor will send the Session ID the night before the test is scheduled to begin. 

Designated Supports / Accommodations

If your student has a 504 or an IEP and needs designated supports or accommodations, we will make sure their settings are updated in the ISAT testing system to include any accommodations. The settings will only be updated if your student has an existing IEP or 504 plan. Please reach out to your homeroom teacher if you need to start this process or have questions about accommodations.  

Explanation of Interim Testing

The interim test will be done from your home over a secure browser. We have to "proctor" the test by opening a live session on the ISAT portal. We don't have to "watch" your student, but we have to stay in the session until all students are done testing. It should be a fairly easy process! 

Interims for Required Monthly Check Ins

Students in 4th-8th grade are able to use Interim ISAT Tests for their required monthly check-ins. Each month, there will be a specific IAB (Interim Assessment Block) test for ELA and Math. Your proctor can help answer any question you may have as your student is logging into the test.

Results can take up to 2 weeks to generate and be sent to you. Please plan accordingly.

Since students in every grade level could be testing, please be sure to choose the correct grade level test for your student. Once logged in, you will see every test available for your student’s grade level and one grade level below. For detailed information about the tests available, please refer to the All Things ISAT document.

The proctor who is giving the test will be sending out a reminder email the day before testing. This email will include all of the details you will need for the day of testing. Please read it carefully and refer back to it as needed. You will also need the login information from this email on the day of testing. Please write it down and keep it handy.
