We're so excited to have you join us! This month, Mrs. Chaplin will guide students through a watercolor painting of Echinacea flowers. Whether this is your first watercolor class or you've painted with us before, we're glad you're here!
Event Information
When: Thursday, September 10, 2026
10:00 AM PT | 11:00 AM MT | 12:00 PM CT | 1:00 PM ET
Who: Open to all Braintree Academy families.
Before class, please print:
Outline: Echinacea flowers sketch
Reference Photo: Echinacea flowers photo
For the best results, print the outline on 8.5" x 11" watercolor or mixed media paper. You may also trace the outline onto watercolor paper using a bright window.
Please have ready:
Watercolors
Fine-tip brush
Medium brush
Fine-tip Micron pen
Cup of water
Paper towels
(Optional: Use masking or painter's tape around the edges for a clean border.)
During Class
To help everyone enjoy the lesson, please remain muted unless Mrs. Chaplin calls on you. Questions about painting techniques are always welcome!
