What: Come Join us for a field day of Rocket Launching fun!

Create a paper rocket and bring it to the park and take your turn to launch it across the field. The Braintree Academy student's rocket that goes the farthest will win a prize! Prizes are for enrolled students only, but non-enrolled family members are welcome to have fun and launch rockets as well. We encourage parents to build a rocket and compete against their children for fun!

Attached is a file that gives instructions on how to build a rocket that will fit on the launcher as well as a test that can be taken and used as a submission.

The instructions have the students using a pencil for the size. The rocket launcher that we will be using is 5/8th in diameter. Please make your rockets large enough to fit around that!
