Many of our CDLA/Braintree families have expressed interest in accessing free and reduced benefits. We’re pleased to share that these benefits are now available. Cloverdale is currently finalizing the details, and more information will be shared soon.
The IDOE released that high-quality reading and math instruction will be available to Hoosier students again this summer through the Summer Learning Labs (SLL). SLL is a free, five-week summer learning and enrichment program for students who will be in grades one through nine following summer break. There are several sites around the state where this will take place. Information can be found HERE.

Access to the opt-in resources acquired with this year’s supplemental learning funds will remain available through July 15th. We encourage you to take full advantage of these materials while they are still accessible!

For the 26-27 school year, eligible 8th graders will have the chance to enroll in select high school courses. This option is designed to challenge advanced learners and provide them with a head start on their high school journey.
These courses will count toward high school credit and will be reflected on the high school transcript. Options include:
Algebra A and B
Biology A and B
Geography/World History A and B
PE (1st semester) and Health (2nd semester)
Preparing for College and Career (one semester class - may be offered both semesters depending on enrollment)
MS Registration Form for CDLA/Braintree High School

Keep the learning and friendships growing all summer long with Braintree Academy’s 2026 Summer Pen Pal Program for PreK–12th grade students!
SIGN UP HERE: Braintree Academy Pen Pals | Braintree Academy
Students will be matched with a pen pal by grade level and gender to encourage meaningful connections, creativity, and fun all summer long. It’s a great way to build writing skills, practice reading and communication, and make new friends across the Braintree community — all through the excitement of real letters in the mail!
We encourage students to send at least one letter each month throughout the summer.
Matches will be emailed by the end of the first week of June.
